Hutton Consulting Australia would like to congratulate Daniel Brown on his appointment to Principal of Emmanuel and Josiah Colleges in Qld, beginning 2022. Mr Brown’s Christian faith, extensive experience in K-12 independent schools, and his passion for engaging young people, make him an ideal leader for the Emmanuel community. Currently in his fifth year as Head of Plenty Campus and Deputy Principal at Ivanhoe Grammar School in Victoria, Mr Brown has successfully led a number of projects in the areas of curriculum design, staff leadership, character education, and the establishment of a Year 9 University Campus. Prior to moving to Victoria, he held a number of leadership roles at The Southport School and Brisbane Grammar. Mr Brown has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Master of Education, and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration. He has been a finalist in many teaching and leadership awards in the past five years, and was recently nominated by his school community for the NEiTA leadership award in 2020. Daniel and his family are looking forward to returning to the Gold Coast and attending Emmanuel College.
