Angela Schumacher is a highly skilled consultant and educator with over 10 years of experience in fostering partnerships between education and industry. As the Founder and Principal Consultant at Angela Schumacher Consulting, she is an expert in designing and delivering partnered learning frameworks, with a focus on entrepreneurial learning, service and character development.

Previously, Angela held senior roles such as Director of Partnerships at Pymble Ladies’ College, where she specialised in creating strategic education partnerships. Her consulting experience includes work with the Association of Independent Schools of NSW, where she helped shape school and industry partnerships that enhance student success.

Her expertise extends to project and event management, coaching and mentoring, and partnership frameworks strategy, brokerage, and stewardship, all aimed at supporting schools and other organisations build meaningful collaborations.

Keeping your school community safer online – trends, support and a whole-school approach to eSafety.

Digital technologies amplify what is happening in other environments (e.g. family and school) and can influence the way that children and young people live, learn, relate and grow. This presentation will amplify the eSafety issues in schools and the need to approach online safety education as a whole-of-community responsibility to keep students safe.

Manager, Education Sectors eSafety Commissioner

Nicky Sloss has more than 20 years of experience working as an education specialist, supporting schools both in Australia and overseas. She is experienced in project management, having worked on statewide initiatives and government-funded projects with links to student safety, mental health, and wellbeing at AISNSW before moving to eSafety.

Nicky is currently the Manager of eSafety’s Education team. This team oversees eSafety’s National Online Safety Education Council representing all three education sectors in each State and Territory and Youth Council. The team ensures that young people’s voice is front and centre in program and policy development and supports targeted and contemporary online safety resources and professional learning for early years through to the tertiary sector.
