The Director of Christian Identity & Culture leads Bayview’s Christian mission with authenticity, imagination and a wholehearted commitment to the College’s ecumenical identity. The role champions faith-in-action across curriculum, culture and community life, ensuring the Faith & Values program (Years 7–12) is contemporary, evidence-informed and resonant with young people. As a visible, present leader, the Director nurtures staff formation, guides liturgical and celebratory life, strengthens social justice initiatives, and builds collaborative relationships with local churches and community groups. This is a role for a relational educator who sees faith as a catalyst for belonging, resilience and collective flourishing.

Offered as an ongoing substantive senior teacher role, with an additional three-year fixed term 'Position of Leadership' (POL) contract, the appointee will preferably be available to commence in January 2026, or another date by negotiation. The Leader of Business Operations drives business innovation, continuous improvement and sustainable resource management. Leading Finance, Facilities/Maintenance and the Sports & Wellness function, the role oversees budgeting and reporting, risk and compliance frameworks, procurement, insurance and contractors, and delivers the Master Plan and capital projects. A visible, collaborative presence, the Leader partners across the College, Mercy Education and external stakeholders, balancing opportunity and risk, to ensure strategy translates into operational excellence and student-centred outcomes.

The Business Manager is an integral member of the senior leadership team. The position has an important strategic and operational role, contributing to the directions and priorities of the school as a whole, as well as assisting to develop plans and programs to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency across all aspects of SCOTS PGC business operations. The successful candidate will be seeking to embed themselves into a regional community, demonstrate a proven record of exceptional ethical leadership, strategic thinking, operational attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Reporting to the Principal, and the College Council, the Business Manager will exemplify astute financial and commercial acumen and is responsible for the management of all business functions across the school, including two campuses, two College Boarding Houses and the SCOTS PGC College Foundation. The position also acts as Company Secretary to the School Council and manages the public office accountabilities of the school’s legal entities.

The successful candidate will be CPA or CA qualified and able to demonstrate experience in:

Establishing and maintaining financial reporting frameworks including a high level of knowledge of accounting practices, Corporations Law and governance.
Leading finance, business and project functions as part of a senior team and reporting to a Board or Council, as well as influencing key decisions by providing strong evidence for recommendations.
Leading diverse operational portfolios such as ICT, risk, facilities, and support services.
Establishing effective budget formulation and financial management processes in a commercial or significant not-for-profit environment, with evidence of strong commercial acumen.
Planning and managing significant capital and other projects including the analysis of costs and preparation of business cases.
Leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams through relational, values-driven leadership.
