Qualifications and Requirements

Active and ongoing participation in a Catholic Eucharistic community is essential.
Eligible to work in Australia; registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (or eligibility to obtain); accreditation to teach Religious Education or lead in a Catholic school (or eligibility to obtain)
Recognised and current qualifications in Education and Theology or Spirituality, preferably at the Masters or Doctoral level.
Proven leadership experience, preferably in a Catholic education ministry

Remuneration and contract period
A remuneration package reflecting the responsibilities of the role and the experience of the successful candidate will be negotiated. The successful applicant will be appointed on a five-year contract, commencing in January 2026 or as negotiated. A renewal of the contract will be subject to mutual agreement and a performance review.

Description:

The Anglican Schools Corporation (TASC) is entering an exciting new phase of growth, resulting in the re-shaping of its executive team. TASC currently comprises 18 schools within the Sydney Diocese and Western NSW. Each school values its independence while acting with interdependence within TASC. The Anglican Schools Corporation provides schooling for students across both low fee and higher fee schools, with a dedicated commitment to high quality Christian education. The newly created role of Executive Manager, Assets and Capital Development reflects the experience and leadership required to optimise the stewardship of the Corporation’s physical assets, ensuring the infrastructure across the schools meets both current and future needs.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager, Assets and Capital Development will be adept at discerning the individual context of each school within the Corporation, supporting stakeholders in all aspects of asset management, master planning, capital development, and related procurement. Working in close partnership with Principals, Business Managers, the Board, external contractors, and the Executive Team, the Executive Manager will advance TASC’s mission through strategic infrastructure planning, project delivery, and sustainable development.

The successful candidate will be able to:

Lead the Corporation’s asset management and lifecycle planning across all sites
Oversee and drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital works projects
Develop and implement strategic master building plans aligned with future growth
Guide procurement and contract management to achieve cost-effective outcomes
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards
Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team on infrastructure and related procurement matters
Foster best practice sustainability initiatives across capital and asset operations
Develop high-performing teams within the Capital Works and Asset Management functions

The successful candidate will be:

A tertiary-qualified leader in Engineering, Building, Asset Management, Business Administration, or a related field
