Girton Grammar School (Girton) in Bendigo regional Victoria is celebrating its 30th year anniversary in 2023. The Risk and Compliance Manager will be technically skilled and possess a confident grasp of the intricacies of regulatory frameworks and standards. Underpinned by an astute understanding of the connected nature of a regional community, the successful candidate will effectively engage with all staff and school members to ensure a culture of best practice is embedded across the entire school community.
With a negotiable start date, the Risk and Compliance Manager is a new position that will report to the Director of Business. The role will provide expert advice to the Principal, School Executive and where required, the Board, on the management of the School’s mandated risk and compliance legislative and regulatory frameworks.
As the organisational leader in this specialist field, the successful candidate will be the central coordination point and main conduit responsible for all Risk and Compliance related matters. The successful candidate will be proactive and diligent in taking ownership for, and actioning of, all risk and compliance resources and protocols. The incumbent will be comfortable in facilitating working parties or professional development training sessions to ensure capacity is continuously built across the organisation. With exceptional attention to detail, the Risk and Compliance Manager will be particularly adept at communicating complex information in a manner that is readily digestible.
