After an extensive national and international search conducted by Hutton Consulting Australia, The Kilmore International School has announced the appointment of Megan Laing as the Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School, to commence in 2021. With more than 20 years’ experience gained in South Africa, Australia and China, Megan comes to TKIS from Masada College in Sydney where she was Head of Senior School.
Megan is an executive level leader with extensive experience in change management, complemented by a deep understanding of senior years pedagogy and with particular expertise in aligning 21st century skills to current teaching practice and cross curricula projects underpinned by a commitment to innovation and social justice values.
A member of the Melbourne Arts Circuit, she is a social justice advocate (she worked for the Nelson Mandela Trust) and sees herself as a builder of teams. She demonstrates an appreciation of the global perspective that underpins an international school and with this, an understanding of how to involve both parent and business communities in the educational journey of the students.
We congratulate Megan on her appointment.
