Kilbreda College has appointed Christopher Shelly as their new Business Manager following a search conducted by Hutton Consulting Australia.
Chris has broad experience as an Operations & Finance Executive across a range of Social Profit organisations gained over the last 15 years. He has strong ties to the Education sector, having been Chair of the School Advisory Council at St Jude’s Primary School in Scoresby and a member of the Finance Committee at Emmaus College in Vermont South. He comes to Kilbreda from Fairtrade ANZ where he has held the position of Executive Manager – Operations & Finance.
He is a Chartered Account with a passion for helping those around him and for ensuring the smooth operation of the organisations in which he has worked. He is accomplished leader with strong interpersonal skills.
He is heavily involved with his local community, as a Coach of junior basketball, past Chair of the organising committee for the St Jude’s Parish Fair, Scouts (Treasurer), Treasurer of the local kindergarten and Chair of Management Committee of the local early learning centre. In what time he has left, his interests include cycling, the outdoors and of course, his family.
