Macquarie College is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Aaron Hodges to the position of Assistant Principal – Wellbeing. Aaron begun his working career as a case manager with children services, before moving into leadership roles in schools, including Chaplain, College Counsellor and Head of Wellbeing, Chaplaincy and Religious Studies at St Philip’s Christian College in Cessnock. Most recently, Aaron was the Acting Head of Campus at St Philip’s Christian College, Waratah, where he led a specialised team of staff working with students who require extra support to succeed in mainstream schools. Aaron’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Religious Education), Post Grad Diploma in Psychology with a research focus on student anxiety, and Master of Teaching.
