In 1893, a courageous, determined young woman, Lydia Adamson, founded a school in her parents’ home in suburban Adelaide. For 129 years Walford Anglican School for Girls has maintained a dedication to excellence in the holistic education of its students. The Walford learning environment has been carefully designed to promote the sense of belonging for day and boarding students, where each girl is known and valued for her unique talents and strengths. The School Council invites applications from dynamic, experienced leaders of change, to inspire Walford through its next exciting chapter preparing the students of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. The next Principal of Walford will both build on the outstanding leadership of Rebecca Clarke for the past nine years, whilst also exploring new horizons and opportunities for the school.
