The ICT Services Manager is responsible for the organisation, management, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the College’s ICT infrastructure and service provision.  In addition, the ICT Manager is expected to act as an advisor and key stakeholder when considering the technological impact of the College’s stated vision and any projects that support this vision.

 

The ICT Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing the day to day work of the ICT Services Team, which provides both technical and learning resource support and operates within the framework of the policies determined by the College. Positive customer service is delivered to all end users through a strong understanding of education, business and administration processes and requirements of ICT systems and infrastructure. They are a member of the ICT committee and actively participate in the professional learning programs at the school.

 

The successful candidate will hold appropriate tertiary information technology related qualifications, able to lead and managing an ICT team and have an innate ability and proven experience to demonstrate:

  • Strategically lead the College’s ICT resources and the operation of the ICT Services Department, including the Help Desk
  • Five or more years of Systems Administration and Network Management experience, preferable as a Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Extensive experience in Windows server management including but not limited to File Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WebDav, SCCM and WSUS.
  • Manage and oversee the operation of the network and its security, recommend and implement appropriate measures to maintain data security;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and end user services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Initial appointment will be full time for a five-year period with the opportunity for contract renewal after a summative review in the final year of the contract. A competitive salary will be negotiated appropriate to qualifications and experience.
