Westminster School is a leading independent, Uniting Church, Early Learning to Year 12, coeducational, day and boarding school located at Marion, South Australia, 12 km south of Adelaide.

After nearly 18 years as Head of Preparatory School, Grant Bock will conclude his tenure in June 2023, leaving the Preparatory School with record primary student numbers and a highly engaged and involved staff.

The Head of Preparatory School is a member of the School Leadership Team and assists the Principal in leading the School to ensure the best experiential and educational outcomes for all students from Early Learning to Year 6.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Substantial experience in a senior leadership position or demonstrable potential to succeed in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, providing engaging, deep learning experiences for students
• Experience in implementing frameworks of learning for students who have a variety of learning needs.
• Experience in embedding ICT in learning experiences.
• Comprehensive experience and passion in building a connected school community and positive culture.
• Depth of knowledge and experience in building the capability of teaching staff supported by evidence based research
• A knowledge of, and experience in, financial management, strategic management, governance, risk and marketing
