Located at the St Kilda campus, the Head of Faculty – Mathematics is responsible for all curriculum development and pedagogy across Years 7 – 12 and the promotion of creative, innovative thinking and practice among colleagues.
With the assistance of a Faculty Coordinator, the Head of Faculty – Mathematics manages the teaching staff and the curriculum implementation needs of a relatively large Mathematics faculty. An emphasis of the role is to effectively grow and progress outcomes in VCE Units 3 and 4 Mathematics; and, more broadly, work to support curriculum coordinators / program leaders, other Heads of Faculty, Heads and Deputy Heads of campus, Digital Learning Practice team and the Head of Teaching and Learning.
With a negotiable start date, this appointment is for a three year term (with a maximum of two terms served by any appointee).
