As the oldest international school in South-East Asia, Tanglin Trust School is a prominent and pioneering educational institution. Tanglin Trust is also the only school in Singapore to offer both A-Level and IB pathways for graduating students. Tanglin, a vibrant co-educational world school of almost 3,000 students from over 50 nationalities, is a community who collectively honour the past, embrace the present, and aspire to the future. As the school moves proudly toward its centenary in 2025, it is embarking on an ambitious strategic project to establish a new campus, Tanglin Gippsland, spectacularly situated in the Australian Alps, near Mount Baw Baw, Victoria. The Head of Campus role has overall stewardship of Tanglin Gippsland. The residential programme away from home will launch in 2025 and is expected to cater for around 50 students. The Head of Campus will imagine and implement a world-class educational offering that fosters the whole child. The role is accountable for implementing and evolving standards of excellence across every facet of the operation. The position is responsible for a framework of quality policies, processes and procedures that ensures all staff and students fulfill their potential by learning together in a safe, caring yet aspirational and invigorating environment. The Head of Campus will be involved in the early phases of planning and delivery of fit for purpose facilities, as well as preparing and establishing ongoing systems & structures, together with attracting & onboarding a team of dedicated professionals.

The Head of Campus is a passionate educator with a depth and breadth of expertise across administration, pedagogy and wellbeing. The successful candidate effectively draws from experiences that showcase adaptability, creativity, systems thinking and tenacity to seamlessly deliver a truly bespoke educational programme. The Head of Campus sets and demonstrates high expectations, personifying the norms, mindsets and habitual ways of being in a culture of integrity, responsibility and endeavour. Always daring to strive, the Head effectively shapes and guides an environment where everyone feels valued, challenged and happy as an integral part of an engaged community of lifelong learners who confidently and positively contribute to the world around us.

This position is a 3-year tenure starting in 2024 (exact date to be negotiated) with the option of renewal at the conclusion, subject to performance review. A teaching allotment of 0.2FTE requires applicants to be qualified and registered teachers (with capability for VIT registration). Experience in IB and A Level British curriculum will be viewed favourably. The successful candidate will also be expected to travel to Singapore throughout each year and will benefit from on-site accommodation as well as an attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
