Arden Anglican School is a vibrant coeducational independent school spread over two campuses in the leafy suburbs of Epping and Beecroft. With a preferable January 2024 start, the Deputy Principal is a key leadership role at Arden Anglican School, supporting the Principal in providing both strategic and operational leadership of the School. As a senior leader, the Deputy Principal will be a strategic thinker with an evidence-informed philosophy of education. They will assist with the engagement, support and development of staff to deliver the strategic vision and operational objectives of the School. The Deputy Principal will lead and contribute to a collegial environment of trust and positive engagement. They will have experience in instructional leadership and will work closely with the Director of Teaching and Learning to support the timely and effective academic development of the School. The Deputy Principal will work closely with the Heads of School to ensure cohesion in all academic, pastoral and co-curricular programs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Play a leading role in strategic development, operational improvement and key decision making
  • Model and reflect the Christian beliefs and values of the School
  • Support the Principal with overseeing the program and culture of professional learning to enhance the capacity of academic staff
  • Foster supportive positive professional relationships
  • Inspire and lead staff using contemporary leadership and management practices
