Established in 1977, Whittlesea Secondary College (WSC) is a co-educational government school, nestled next to the picturesque King Lake National Park not more than an hour from Melbourne CBD. The College has a strong history of providing students with a diverse and innovative curriculum over the past 40 years. WSC values student empowerment and choice, fostering strong student leadership across the school. In an intentional repudiation of the traditional ‘one size fits all’ factory model of schooling, WSC gives control back to students by empowering them to design their own personalised learning pathways targeting the learning areas they are passionate about and wish to focus on to engender a better understanding of the world around us.
